HELLBRUTE, KRANON, CHAOS RAVAGERS CHOSEN AND ASPIRING CHAMPION. YEAR:2012

Finally, after a couple of weeks working on it, here we have got our last request: all the Dark Vengeance Space Marines Chaos miniatures plus a Chaos Aspiring Champion. We have been lucky cause we have had the chance to paint most of the new Warhammer 40.000 Chaos miniatures...and we have to say that are amazing, full of great details that make each one unique. They are exactly how we imagine Chaos Space Marines: rude guys with big weapons, big armors full of chaotic gods marks and tentacles and organic shapes emerging from them. Really beautiful.

Recently we have painted another round of Dark Vengeance miniatures, but with a diferent scheme of colors this time. Just click the following link if you want to check out an Undivided Chaos Hellbrute, a Kranon and Chaos Sorcerer.

First miniature that we painted was the Hellbrute. Our customer demanded us a Thousand Sons color scheme for the armor: blue and golden tones. To reflect the magic nature of Tzeentch, he also asked us for some arcane crystals at it base. It skin was painted with some purple and "Dwarf Flesh" mix layers, which gets that rooted and sick appearance. If we combine that skin with blood spilling out from its wounds and from its unions of organic and metal parts, we have a disgusting look, very agressive, perfect for a Chaos killing machine.

Next think that we thought after finishing the Hellbrute was: oh my God! Look that great champion of Chaos! And we couldn't wait to see it done. Of course, we are talking about Kranon. This amazing miniature has a very dinamic pose, but we wanted to highlight it even more with his base. Snow and ice really look great and fit perfectly with his red armor and dark blue cloak. As a detail, we love the spine of his back.

Last miniatures that we painted were the Chaos Ravagers Chosen and one Aspiring Champion. As it use to be common, Dark Vengeance miniatures didn't let us down. We could enjoy each one with their several details, which took more time than we expected at the beginning to finish them. However, we believe it has been worthy.

This has been all for now. We will end a pair of request next week (we hope so). We will try to update our blog as soon as posible with them. You are about to see a lot of Warhammer 40.000 here.
This work has make us stop and think when we are going to paint our Dark Vengeance miniatures...
...some day!
