ELDAR: GUARDIANS, STRIKING SCORPIONS AND FIRE DRAGONS. YEAR: 2013

It is beeing a highly productive week. We are trying to paint every day as much as we can.

Today it's time for fresh air. We come back with a new army, one that we never had the chance to paint before: Eldar! In concrete we have completed three squads: a 10 Eldar Guardian Squad, 6 Eldar Striking Scorpions and 6 Eldar Fire Dragons, both with their Exarchs. The whole request has been painted according to the Biel-tan craftworld scheme of colours, also used by Games Workshop. Long time ago since we want to paint Eldars miniatures. It is well known that is a tough army, both playing and painting them, full of elegant and complicated miniatures.

Here you have these great miniatures:

By the way! Stay tuned to our next post because we think it will arrive at the end of this week.

THE LORD OF THE RINGS MINIATURES, PART III. YEAR: 2013

Two post ago, where we introduced you 2 Space Wolves characters, we told you that next update will be about the Lord of the Rings. However we couldn't resist the temptation and we uploaded the miniatures that ordered us a regular customer. In concrete, the miniatures of Batman Arkham City: Nightwing and Bane.

Well, as we promised, today is time for more characters and miniatures of the Lord of the Rings. Some of them are very important in this universe such as: Sauron, Isildur, Elrond or Saruman. You will see that most of the bases are unpainted. This has a reason: we will complete them all at the same time when we finish the whole request.

By the way, what miniature do you like more and why? You can leave your comments below!

Orc Shaman on Warg.

Isildur and Sauron at Mount Doom.

Keep these miniatures on your mind because later will return to our blog with something else...).

Isildur and Elendil's corpse.

Sauron, the Dark Lord.

Denethor, Steward of Gondor.

Elrond, Master of Rivendell.
Check out how we have performed the sleeve and suit details.

 Goldberry, "Daughter of the River".
For those who just have watched "the Lord of the Rings" films, Goldberry is the wife of Tom Bombadil, who helps Merry, Pippin, Sam and Frodo during the chapter "Fog on the Barrow-Downs".

Boromir's Death
Nice free hand details at the cloak and sleeves.

Saruman the White

Gríma Wormtongue.

Eomer, Marshal of the Riddermark.

That's all for today. Anyway, we keep working hard and soon more updates will be ready. Our two next posts will be about:
- Space Wolves.
- A new application that we have developped.

So keep watching our blog! XD

Pd.: here you have got other the Lord of the Rings posts:
Mines of Moria Games Workshop boxed game.
- Diorama: "the winding staircase of Minas Morgul".
- The Lord of the Rings miniatures, part I.
- The Lord of the Rings miniatures, part II.

BATMAN ARKHAM CITY: NIGHTWING & BANE. YEAR: 2013

We are back after our period of exams (we hope that yours has been as positive as ours). So, here we are again with our batteries loaded and ready to paint. We couldn't work on our miniatures as much as we would had liked to do this last month.

We want to seize this chance and show you two quite different miniatures of what you use to see here lately (although we promised you in our last post that this one should be about LOTR). Lovers of superheroes must be pleased because both miniatures belong to "Batman: Arkham City" from the spanish brand Knight Models: Nightwing and Bane.
These 24 and 35 mm miniatures are excellent, perfectly modeled, full of details and very dinamic poses.

We hope you see more miniatures of this range around here soon!

LUKAS THE TRICKSTER AND WOLF GUARD WITH WOLF CLAWS. YEAR: 2013

Many miniatures from the fantasy world of Warhammer and the Lord of the Rings have decided to stop in our workshop to be painted, but we are full of futuristic technology and armament as well. Of course, we mean miniatures of Warhammer 40.000.
The ones that we want to introduce you today are a small part of a huge request that we have been showing you for the last months. They all belong to the Space Wolves army. We want to leave you here a couple of links for those who don't remember our previous work or are new in our blog. You can access by clicking over the titles:

SCOUT SQUAD, VENERABLE DREADNOUGHT, LOGAN GRIMNAR Y RAGNAR BLACKMANE

2 BLOOD CLAWS SQUADS AND 1 CHARACTER

Today we bring you another small advance of this army that step by step is taking color: "Lukas the Trickster" and a Finecast Wolf Guard with wolf claws. Who couldn't be pleased of painting these two great miniatures?

Wolf Guard with wolf claws

Yellow "freehand" details of the armor create a nice colours scheme (they perfectly fit with our "Grupo Afternoon" logo).

Check out the blue and white highlights on the wolf claws.

Lukas the Trickster

He follows the same colours scheme than the rest of the army.

This wolf skin cloak has a special look thanks to the black stains.

That's all that we have for the moment about Warhammer 40.000 and Space Wolves.

Next post we will come back with more Lord of the Rings miniatures. Here you have got a small preview. Stay tuned!
