TAU ELITES. PREMIUM LEVEL. YEAR: 2016

This order includes some Tau Empire units with a very jazzy white and red scheme of colours. They have plenty of scratches and cracks denotating they are tough warriors experienced on thousand of battles. We have painted:
- 2 XV88 Broadside Battlesuits
- 1 Tau Empire Commander .
- 3 XV25 Stealth Battlesuits.
- 9 Tau Pathfinders with 1 Pulse Accelerator Drone, 1 Grav-inhibitor drone and 1 Recon Drone.
- 6 Drones.

XV88 BROADSIDE BATTLESUIT. PREMIUM LEVEL. YEAR: 2015.

New order and one that we have really enjoyed. Check out what a XV88 Broadside Battlesuit we have performed. Our customer wanted a white and black scheme of color with some red decorations and blue details. He specificated that his miniatures must have plenty of damages all over the armors, and so we did. Take a look of it because this XV88 Broadside Battlesuit doesn't belong to the TAU Empire!

Without doubt, the design of the XV88 is great, especially the length of the twin-linked rail rifle. You better be careful if you find this kind of armors as enemy because they melt shields pretty easily.

A curious detail is that our customer wanted us to cross the Empire Tau emblem out in order to emphasize that his army doesn't belong to the original empire, but a separated faction like Farsight Enclaves.

Finally here are the drones that accompany the XV88 Broadside Battlesuit to war. Check out how worn out they are.

CADRE FIREBLADE. YEAR: 2014.

The model that we want to show you today is a special one. It doesn't belong to any order: it has been painted by our mate Borja in order to take part of the Games Workshop Zaragoza monthly painting contest (and luckily he won!). Certanly Alex (manager of the store) has had a very good idea arranging a contest like this each month with simple and accessible models. A great iniciative, specially for young and new fans that can try their best and don't spend too much money at the same time.
We have already seen Borja in this kind of contests before with successful results. Do you remember this Space Marine Librarian?

The chosen model of this month has been the Tau Cadre Fireble, a specialized character for Fire Warrior teams. Our Cadre Fireblade has been represented crossing a swamp area with pretty dense vegetation. It is advancing with caution, raising the weapon over his head and watching carefully his scanner. As you can see, Borja has changed his weapons: instead of his pulse rifle, the Cadre Fireblade carries a pulse carbine. He also has removed the Bonding knife for a scanner in order to locate any threat or obstacles on the ground (which is very appropriate for the scene). Do you like it?
Cadre Fireblade overview.

Pay attention at the color scheme that our mate has chosen. Those purple shades turned into pink fit great in combination with the skin and the white armor. In addition it gets a nice contrast with the vegetation.

Check out the vegetation details such as the moss in the dead tree.

Here you can see better the whole swamp area and the scanner.

TAU FIRE WARRIORS TEAM. YEAR: 2012

Here finally is the other part of a request that we show you a couple of weeks ago when we introduced in our blog the Chaos Champion of Khorne: 12 Tau Fire Warriors.

They have been painted in a "fire" colours scheme by customer's proposition. We have respected the tipical TAU blue skin tones. These are certanly rare colors for this army. In addition, we have added urban decoration at their bases what gives them a very characteristic look.

It has taken time to complete this unit but it really has worth it.

Who is in charge here?

We have seized some Warhammer 40K scenery to decorate this photo.

Check out their bases!

Grenades throwers.

Somebody has paid attention at their helmets? The half of them are black.

General overview.

And now, here you have them all one by one:

Captain of the Fire warriors team.

We hope you like it. Stay tunned because soon we will be back with a new TUTORIAL ABOUT HOW TO BUILD A LAKE (you can roll you dices in there if you don't use it on your battles).

Cheers!!
