NOISE MARINES OF SLAANESH. YEAR: 2013.

A curious band of Chaos Space Marines has dropped in our blog this week. We are talking about a complete squad of Slaanesh Noise Marines. As use to be common, most of these evil Marines are from the Emperor's Children traitor Legion, and that's exactly the Pre-Heresy colour scheme that we have used on them: purple and golden tones.

These models have some conversions made by our customer: you can see some MKII Crusade Armours between these miniatures. He has also used upgrade kits to equip his Chaos Marines with sonic weapons: 6 Sonic Blasters and one Blastmaster. In addition, there are other elements included in the upgrade kits: shoulder pads, power weapons, helmets... All these uncommon parts makes this squad really special, something that you won't see often on the battlefields. We can say that it is a very customized army.

If you pay attention at their colours, you will see that they have been chosen very wisely. Weapons painted with that electric blue really highlight over the rest of the elements. On the other side, they are painted with dark colours (purple and golden tones mostly) that fit perfectly each other and give that appearance of evil. Small details such as the extreme pale skin or yellow eyes suggest that point of madness that these Chaos Space Marines have on their minds. Enjoy!

Summarizing, a very customized and original work. However it has taken more time than we expected at the beginning. Anyway, we are pleased with the result as well as our customer and that's what matters!

DEATH GUARD HELDRAKE AND OBLITERATORS OF NURGLE. REQUEST. YEAR: 2013.

Request of today is a project of Chaos Space Marines of Nurgle with a Pre-Heresy colour scheme. In concrete, is the Death Guard traitor legion. Its Primarch, Mortarion, fought along with Horus against the Emperor of Mankind. In addition this request, has been an example of cooperation and teamwork.

It is a great project that includes a Heldrake and three Obliterators of Nurgle conversions (original miniatures are Deathshroud Terminators of Forge World). We have to say that it is the first time in our short career that we work hand to hand with one of our customers because this project had two different phases:
- Turn miniatures into Nurgle ones (boils made by Green Stuff, etc.) and magnetization.
- Painting of miniatures.

Our client was in charge of transforming his miniatures and place the magnets. The objetives of magnetizing these miniatures are different in each one of them:
- For Obliterators of Nurgle, the aim was to get two miniatures in one: exchange their arms in order to use the role of Mutilators or Obliterators.
- Heldrake was ready to be assembled in two different positions: flying and attacking.

After this huge work (he deserves our congratulations) our turn came.
It wasn't an easy task but results talk by themselves. A combined work of brush and air-brush have managed bring life to these amazing Death Guard miniatures with a Pre-Heresy colour scheme.

OBLITERATORS / MUTILATORS OF NURGLE

Check out their mutant arms and heads.

Can you count all the boils that these Mutilators have?

Of course, both heads and arms are magnetized in order to be exchanged.

With missile weapons they turn into Obliterators of Nurgle.

Their bases are a rotted swamp, perfect for Nurgle.

HELDRAKE

 Here Heldrake is flying.

Base have been made according to Nurgle: a rotted swamp. It matches in the universe of Warhammer 40K.

A nice air-brush work.

Have you seen its tail? It comes from a Dark Eldar Talos Pain Engine and it is magnetized too. A very original idea.

To place our Heldrake in its two positions, we have used a marker pen: its cap fits perfectly (we plug the marker) and we get the horizontal position.
For vertical one, we use this time the back part of the marker, that of course, fits perfectly too. An intelligent and cheap idea to solve the problem.

DIORAMA:THE EMPERORS PUNISHMENT. YEAR: 2012.

This week we have been plenty busy arranging a small exhibition at a cybercafe of our city, Zaragoza. However, we have been able to keep working on your requests, such as the one which we show today.

It's been a special project, because is the first diorama that you order us and finally it's done. "The Emperor's punishment" has been the choosen title for this battle scene. It represents an Imperial Guard commissioner characterized by a Viktoria Skivlana miniature fighting against some III Legion Emperor's Children Chaos Marines during the Heresy of Horus, due to they already carry at their power armours the colours of their Legion when it was still loyal to the Emperor. 

In special, the commissioner miniature has it own story. We had already painted for him a previous Viktoria Skivlana. He enjoyed so much the miniature that decided to order us this project.

We want to highlight the devastated ground, including all the details and elements: wires, tubes, debris... The commissioner has already killed a couple of Chaos Marines and she has just performed a head shot against another Marine with her Bolt pistol. She proudly remains over the corpse of an enemy while she copes a second round of Emperor's Children.

When our customer ordered us a pre-Heresy Emperor's Children Chaos Marines scheme of colours, we were worried about it because we didn't know how it could affect to the general diorama appearance, even more painting the commissioner in white. However, at the end, it has been a success because she seems a spot of light in the middle of the darkness.

To sum up, a different and great request due to the final results (you know that we love to work on the bases, so we have been like in heaven XD). We want to thank our client for the confidence on us.
