RAVENWING BLACK NIGHTS SQUAD, DARK VENGEANCE. YEAR: 2015.

And this Dark Angels Ravenwing Black Nights squad is the last adquisition for the Dark Vengeance box of our customer. In fact we already have to paint the rest of the Dark Vengeance set except a Company Master, a Librarian and an exclusive Chaplain that we uploaded in our last post. Never understimate these Marines because they belong to the 2nd company of their chapter, specialized in blitzkrieg.

The Veteran Sargeant is always ready for combat and is accelerating in order to reach their foes and defeat them with his mighty chain sword. Check out how subtle the grey lights are because it looks like the armor and bike have been painted in black, but they really aren't,

If you realize we have wanted to change slighty the position as if this Marine would be about to jump. This exalts him over his comrades and denotates his rank.

This Dark Angel Ravenwing Marine is equipped with a powerful Plasma Gun that is perfect to destroy heavy infantry or light vehicles. In this way the squad is always ready for any enemy they can find in the battlefield.

And finally the Marine armed with Bolt Pistol, a very handy weapon to fight on a bike.

Pay attetion at the free hand performed at his shoulder pad that indicates this Marine belongs to the 2nd company of his chapter.

Soon we will come back with another post about the Dark Vegeance set. This time we will paint half Space Marines tactical squad.
Until our next post!

DARK ANGELS CHARACTERS FROM DARK VENGEANCE. YEAR: 2015.

Our first Dark Angels post in our blog comes with 3 spectacular models from the Dark Vengeance boxed game: one Company Master, one Librarian and the exclusive Chaplain that you can find only purchasing this Warhammer 40.000 set.
In addition we will upload every month more Dark Vengeance models because the whole order includes all the Dark Angels miniatures in the box:

As you see, they have been painted with the original scheme of color, something that our customer demanded us. The bases have been decorated with earth and some destroyed metallic rests. These are high quality models with plenty of details and their exclusivity make them even more specials. We haven't wasted this chance and today we bring you 3 characters painted in our premiun level with some details that you will love:

INTERROGATOR CHAPLAIN SERAPHICUS

This exclusive Chaplain from Dark Vengeance is the first character that we will show you here. He follows the classic chaplain scheme: black power armor and a skull-visaged helmet. He wears his sacred Crozius Arcanum and his green cloak identifies him as a Dark Angel Space Marine.

COMPANY MASTER

This is one of the 10 Dark Angels Company Masters if we except the Deathwing and Ravenwing companies. His defiant posture wearing his power sword makes him the perfect character to command your tactical squads. Do not miss the sword!

LIBRARIAN

Our last model is this Librarian that also follows the basic patrons of his order: blue power armor with green shoulder pads that identify him as a Dark Angel. We do like the posture releasing some psychic power although is starting to be typical in this kind of miniatures.

Here you can check out the power sword and some armor details.

As we said before, every month we will upload some pics about Dark Vengeance models. Next ones will be the Ravenwing Bike Squadron.
Thanks for reading and cheers from the whole team!

HELLBRUTE, KRANON AND CAOS SPACE MARINE SORCERER. YEAR: 2012.

We want to dedicate the request of this week to something that we show you in our blog not too long ago: Dark Vengeance miniatures.

We have painted this Hellbrute, this Kranon and this Chaos Space Marine Sorcerer (with a small pose conversion) in a diferent way that the ones of a couple of weeks ago. This time, our customer wanted a Chaos Undivided scheme of colors, that is to say, black armors and dark metallic and golden tones. Cloaks were performed in violet and dark blue, which stand out perfectly against the other colors. For organic parts, we heve used rooted or sickly shades, blending flesh, purple even green colors.
Of course, these great miniatures had to be highlighted with special bases.

This post is just an example of how a miniature can be painted in several ways and look great in each one of them. If you are interested or you want to compare, we leave you here a link to our other Dark Vengeance request where you will see, among other things, a Thousand Sons Hellbrute.

And now, photos:

Kranon the Relentless

Chaos Space Marine Sorcerer

It has been great to have the chance to paint again these miniatures, but with diferent schemes of colors. It has given us ideas and we have been able to compare which one we prefer and which colors fit better with Chaos Space Marines... for possible next armies...
Greetings for the whole team!

HELLBRUTE, KRANON, CHAOS RAVAGERS CHOSEN AND ASPIRING CHAMPION. YEAR:2012

Finally, after a couple of weeks working on it, here we have got our last request: all the Dark Vengeance Space Marines Chaos miniatures plus a Chaos Aspiring Champion. We have been lucky cause we have had the chance to paint most of the new Warhammer 40.000 Chaos miniatures...and we have to say that are amazing, full of great details that make each one unique. They are exactly how we imagine Chaos Space Marines: rude guys with big weapons, big armors full of chaotic gods marks and tentacles and organic shapes emerging from them. Really beautiful.

Recently we have painted another round of Dark Vengeance miniatures, but with a diferent scheme of colors this time. Just click the following link if you want to check out an Undivided Chaos Hellbrute, a Kranon and Chaos Sorcerer.

First miniature that we painted was the Hellbrute. Our customer demanded us a Thousand Sons color scheme for the armor: blue and golden tones. To reflect the magic nature of Tzeentch, he also asked us for some arcane crystals at it base. It skin was painted with some purple and "Dwarf Flesh" mix layers, which gets that rooted and sick appearance. If we combine that skin with blood spilling out from its wounds and from its unions of organic and metal parts, we have a disgusting look, very agressive, perfect for a Chaos killing machine.

Next think that we thought after finishing the Hellbrute was: oh my God! Look that great champion of Chaos! And we couldn't wait to see it done. Of course, we are talking about Kranon. This amazing miniature has a very dinamic pose, but we wanted to highlight it even more with his base. Snow and ice really look great and fit perfectly with his red armor and dark blue cloak. As a detail, we love the spine of his back.

Last miniatures that we painted were the Chaos Ravagers Chosen and one Aspiring Champion. As it use to be common, Dark Vengeance miniatures didn't let us down. We could enjoy each one with their several details, which took more time than we expected at the beginning to finish them. However, we believe it has been worthy.

Chaos Aspiring Champion

This has been all for now. We will end a pair of request next week (we hope so). We will try to update our blog as soon as posible with them. You are about to see a lot of Warhammer 40.000 here.
This work has make us stop and think when we are going to paint our Dark Vengeance miniatures...
...some day!
