NURGLE PLAGUE PRINCE. SPELLCROW. YEAR: 2015.

It seems that a Nurgle Plague Prince of Spellcrow has infiltrated in our workshop because we barely have seen it. Our painter and partner Darío has painted in a few hours. Check it out because the result is simply great! Painting quick can be also clean, with a premium quality level and performing special effects that we will show you now. Father Nurgle is pleased...

We want to highlight the great work performed at the skin and loincloth. Neither miss all the small details that this Nurgle Daemon Prince hide: left arm is full of worms and many times you can see its putrid pale skin between the armour pieces.

Finally pay attention at the axe. Darío has get a very realistic rusted effect. Imagine a blow of this axe...

NURGLE CHARIOT. YEAR: 2015.

The post of today is dedicated to Nurgle with this Chaos Lord mounted on Chaos Chariot. This powerful Nurgle's lord handles a huge two handed weapon and has a terrible daemonic face. The chariot will be the terror of our customer's foes because within the competitive Warhammer Fantasy these kind of units compose most of the Chaos basic troops due to their movility, low cost in points, wounds, strenght and armor. Let's take a look of it:

The horses have been very nice modeled and you have plenty of pieces to assembly your own chariot. For example, there are bits from all Chaos Gods and variety of weapons. Chaos Lord has been magnetized so our customer can place him mounted on the chariot or just on foot on his 25x25mm square base. In the chariot base you can see many weapons, limbs and torsos as if would have charged against an infantry unit. This was the only proposition of our client and we tought it was a very good idea.

The chariot has a chipped texture with blood splashes all over the armor, something easy if we think about how these warriors use to live. In addition these red spots make you pay attetion on many different parts of the charior such as the horns, wheels, etc.

The colors used have been always dark and weathered: rust, putrid green, gold and metallic tones without bright or plenty of dark grey or even pure black.

Here you can see the Nurgle Lord on his 25x25mm base. We have chosen the biggest weapon and the most terrible face in order to show the blessings of his God.

It is always nice to change and perform different orders. We hope you enjoyed this model as much as we did painting it.
Thanks for reading and cheers from the whole team!

PLAGUEBEARERS OF NURGLE. YEAR: 2014.

Hi!
Our last order has been a Plaguebearers of Nurgle unit, in concrete the last models that Games Workshop released for these daemons. With the campaign the End of Times and all its backstory changes with Glottkin and more recently Khaine, Chaos is the lastest fashion and specially Nurgle. So, which moment could be best for painting a unit like this?

The chosen scheme of color is...well...putrid, with yellow, green and magenta shades for entrails. Everything is very organic. Swords have been painted with a black base and illuminated just in the edges with a medium grey light. As you see, Plaguebearers look pretty disgusting but...aren't all the sons of Nurgle like that? Everyone brings good details such as the guts hanging from their bellies, pustules or skin tears. They are better models than the old Plaguebeares, which were almost the same with identical postures.

Another detail: the base. That brown color along with the dead shrubbery fit great with these daemons that only leave diseases and putrefaction wherever they walk.

Thank you for reading and hope you like this Nurgle daemons. Soon we will be here again with more models to show you!

KAKOPHONI SQUAD AND DAEMON PRINCE OF SLAANESH. YEAR: 2014

Today we bring to you a Kakophoni squad and a Daemon Prince of Slaanesh. All of them are incredibles miniatures. In the case of Kakophoni, Forge World released them just a few months ago. On the other hand, the Daemon Prince is a very curious miniature. Apart of the multiple details that it has, you can not miss the base.

These models belong to a bigger army that we had the chance to paint before:

By the way! The Daemon Prince has been magnetized...let's see if you can guess where!

DAEMON PRINCE OF SLAANESH

This is a model full of details.

Check the icon at its rear armor.

This is a really good detail that Santi has drawn at the mirror.

Details of the Daemon Prince face and the back of the mirror.

If you realize, the mirror cries blood.

The wings are another success of the painter.

Of course the armor is great. Highly detailed as a Daemon Prince deserves.

KAKOPHONI SQUAD

'Till next time!

Paint, paint and paint! That's the verb and the action!

DEATH GUARD HELDRAKE AND OBLITERATORS OF NURGLE. REQUEST. YEAR: 2013.

"Indeed the very process of construction and creation foreshadows destruction and decay. The palace of today is tomorrow's ruin, the maiden of the morning is the crone of the night, and the hope of a moment is but the foundation stone of everlasting regret."
"The Lost and the Damned"

Request of today is a project of Chaos Space Marines of Nurgle with a Pre-Heresy colour scheme. In concrete, is the Death Guard traitor legion. Its Primarch, Mortarion, fought along with Horus against the Emperor of Mankind. In addition this request, has been an example of cooperation and teamwork.

It is a great project that includes a Heldrake and three Obliterators of Nurgle conversions (original miniatures are Deathshroud Terminators of Forge World). We have to say that it is the first time in our short career that we work hand to hand with one of our customers because this project had two different phases:
- Turn miniatures into Nurgle ones (boils made by Green Stuff, etc.) and magnetization.
- Painting of miniatures.

Our client was in charge of transforming his miniatures and place the magnets. The objetives of magnetizing these miniatures are different in each one of them:
- For Obliterators of Nurgle, the aim was to get two miniatures in one: exchange their arms in order to use the role of Mutilators or Obliterators.
- Heldrake was ready to be assembled in two different positions: flying and attacking.

After this huge work (he deserves our congratulations) our turn came.
It wasn't an easy task but results talk by themselves. A combined work of brush and air-brush have managed bring life to these amazing Death Guard miniatures with a Pre-Heresy colour scheme.

Do you want to see photos? Go ahead!

PHASE 1. GREEN STUFF WORK AND MAGNETIZATION (By our customer, David):

PHASE 2. PAINTING WORK (Our turn!):

OBLITERATORS / MUTILATORS OF NURGLE

Check out their mutant arms and heads.

Can you count all the boils that these Mutilators have?

Of course, both heads and arms are magnetized in order to be exchanged.

With missile weapons they turn into Obliterators of Nurgle.

Their bases are a rotted swamp, perfect for Nurgle.

HELDRAKE

 Here Heldrake is flying.

Base have been made according to Nurgle: a rotted swamp. It matches in the universe of Warhammer 40K.

A nice air-brush work.

Have you seen its tail? It comes from a Dark Eldar Talos Pain Engine and it is magnetized too. A very original idea.

 Heldrake in attack position.

To place our Heldrake in its two positions, we have used a marker pen: its cap fits perfectly (we plug the marker) and we get the horizontal position.
For vertical one, we use this time the back part of the marker, that of course, fits perfectly too. An intelligent and cheap idea to solve the problem.

We hope you enjoy these miniatures and we want to encourage all of you to start a project like this. At the end really worth it!

Do not miss our next post about SPACE WOLVES. It will come with plenty of miniatures!
