BLOOD ANGELS TERMINATOR SQUAD, LIBRARIAN, CAPTAIN AND SANGUINARY PRIEST. YEAR: 2015.

"BLOOD ANGELS GO TO WAR ONCE AGAIN...."

Yes! Take a look of this beautiful Terminator squad with a whole command gruop that we have in our blog for today. Five Assault Terminators along with a Company Master and a Librarian both suited in Terminator armour and a Sanguinary Priest compose the order of our customer.

Here you can see the Blood Angels Assault Terminator squad. Don't they remember you the Space Hulk Terminator models? The squad is formed by a Sargeant, a Standard Bearer, 1 brother with Assautl Cannon and 2 Terminators with Lightning Claw and Storm Bolter. All of them wears multiple extra accesories such as the shields on their shoulders pads o the icons over their heads. In addition, our customer loves the snow environments so we made these rocky bases with snow, creating those contrasts that fits so well for this models.

BLOOD ANGELS LIBRARIAN IN TERMINATOR ARMOUR

We love this model because you can create many different effects on his armour and axe.

CAPTAIN IN TERMINATOR ARMOUR

A captain in Termiantor armour adds to the squad an excellent fighter and just a few things can overcome such a deadly warrior

SANGUINARY PRIEST WITH JUMP PACK

We already painted this model for our customer but this time we have conversionated a few things: the chainsword has been changed by a Power Sword and we have added a Jump Pack in order the Sanguinary Priest can join to an Assault Squad. Here we leave you a link to the previous Sanguinary Priest so you can compare both.

Without doubt this is one of the best units we have performed lately. Our customer is pretty satisfied with the result so we are too. Would you like to have an army like this exposed in a showcase at your home? If you can imagine it, we can make it.

Greetings from the whole team!

BLOOD ANGELS: SANGUINARY PRIEST. YEAR: 2015.

We want to start this week with this Sanguinary Priest which we have painted for one of our customers. It is the new model that Games Workshop released a few months ago. It looks pretty similar to the Bother Corbulo old miniature, the Sanguinary High Priest, but in a more static posture. On the other hand, this redesigned model is much better if we pay attention at its details and proportions.
This Sanguinary Priest is the first post of 2 that compose the whole order. Soon you will be able to see here a Blood Angels Bike unit, including a Command Squad within.

Brother Corbulo (just like this Sanguinary Priest) carries the Red Grail that contains the blood of his Primarch: Sanguinius. This important relic is part of the Ritual of Creation where the new Blood Angels are constituted. However, it also has at the same time the main Blood Angels curse and gift: the Flaw, an uncontrollable rage that loose a torrent of destruction against the enemy in the most desperate situations.

Talking about the model, the color or the power armor fits great with the red present all over the figure. Gems and green wires create nice contrats too in order to break the monotony between the two main colors.

Frontal view and face details.

As we said before, in a few time we will upload the Blood Angels Bike squad, and we are sure that you'll like it.
Cheers!

BLOOD ANGELS BIKE SQUAD. YEAR: 2015.

Second Blood Angels post which is related with the Sanguinary Priest uploaded some days ago. Both parts compose the same order. As you see it is a unit that includes a Space Marine Bike Command Squad with a Veteran Sargeant, an Apothecary and a Veteran Standard Bearer. Also we have painted an Attack Bike.
Therefore we continue with Space Marines in our blog but this week we change the chapter: Blood Angels instead of Soul Drinkers veteran squads.

The scheme of colors used is the classic Blood Angels pattern (red and gold). Some details highlight over the red such as the blue painted in the plasma guns or the green Veteran Sargeant Power Sword. They create some light spots that call your attention. Icons performed in white fit with the snow at the bases creating an armony between them and the ground.
Do you want to see each miniature one by one? Let's begin by the Command Squad:

SPACE MARINE COMMAND SQUAD

This Blood Angels Bike Command Squad is composed by a Standard Bearer, an Apothecary and a Veteran Sargeant. All of them carry unique details within the unit and are the main core to fight against the enemy.

Veteran Sargeant wields a Power Sword and his bike is equipped with twin-linked plasma guns. Thanks to his experience and speed it is a terrible opponent.

Standard Bearer is the most spectacular model of the unit. Check out the whole composition. If you realise, the standard comes from the Dark Angels chapter, but painted with the Blood Angels pattern fits perfectly within the squad.

Finally, here we have the Apothecary carrying their traditional white Power Armor.

BLOOD ANGELS BIKERS

The squad core is this three Blood Angels Bikers with many weapon configurations both their bikes and hands. Chains swords and Bolt pistols are the most common weapons that these reckless warriors use to carry.

ATTACK BIKE

And finally, completing the squad, a Bike Attack with Heavy Bolter. This is a nice alternative in order to increase the firepower with some heavy fire.

We hope you like this week dedicated to the Blood Angels. After this, we are going to change the topic again toward something more...ghostly...
Until our next time!

BLOOD ANGELS VETERAN SQUAD. YEAR: 2013.

It is an astonishing unit that our client has customized getting a great result.

These seven miniatures come along with a STORMRAVEN (we will publish it next week) and both packs are included on his army, which we started around the first months of 2011:

- BLOOD ANGELS CAPTAIN.

- BLOOD ANGELS DEATH COMPANY SQUAD.

- SPACE MARINES SCOUT WITH SNIPER RIFLES.

- BLOOD ANGELS FURIOSO DREADNOUGHT.

- BLOOD ANGELS CHARACTERS.

- BLOOD ANGELS CAPTAIN: GAMES DAY 2012 EXCLUSIVE MINIATURE.

After this brief summary, here you have got the squad. Hope you like it!

Feathers and jewels are characteristic details of the Blood Angels.

Scenic bases to represent a battlefield full of rocks and grass.

Can you say how many jewels have these seven Space Marines?

Two Veterans lead the squad.

Every Marine in this unit has battle damages on his armor.

Veteran with a green Power Sword.

These three veterans have golden helmets in order to highlight them among other Space Marines.

As you can see is a very customized unit.

Power Sword green details painted with airbrush.

Purple Power Sword details.

Here you can see the Power Fist of this Blood Angel Veteran.

The face of this Space Marine is great, half human and half robotic.

All parchments have something written.

You can not miss our next post because we will show you the Blood Angels STORMRAVEN.

Until next time!

SPACE HULK TYRANIDS AND LIBRARIAN CALISTARIUS . YEAR: 2012.

Get ready for the... TYRANIDS!!

Hello everyone!
We are really pleased and satisfied about the work that we have performed last week. We have finished the rest of our Space Hulk request:
- 22 Genestealers.
- 1 Broodlord.
- 1 Librarian Calistarius.
- 1 dead Terminator Space Marine on a throne.

If you want, you can check here the Blood Angels Terminators that compose the other part of this big request.

It's been a tough work and longer than we expected. These miniatures are complicated and full of details, not only at the bases. But apart of this, we have to recognize that all of them are great, very dinamic and together they offer an espectacular vision.

Our client wanted his Genestealers painted like in the original set box. He wanted to change just one thing: the Genestealer's claws must be painted with a "Bleached Bone" weathered instead of the original black. And we have to recognize that they look really nice with that. We have also added at the bases some electric wires and some rusted  iron sheets, apart of the details that they already include to give coherence with the Blood Angels Terminator squads. Of course, we highlight the Broodlord base as he deserves. Painting them with dark colours with those rusted details make the bases adquire a great environment of desolated spaceship.

Talking about the Librarian Calistarius and the dead Terminator miniature, we have also painted them like in the original box with the same decoration for the bases. We have included the Librarian shoulder pad "free hand" as well.

Let's see what you think about these miniatures (what a blue tide!):

Each Tyranid has practically his own details, so we want to show you a couple of them by photo. In this way you will be able to see their details more accurately.

We love these Tyranids, the one which is licking the Terminator's head and the one which comes out breaking the ground.

We wanted to highlight the only Tyranid hero that this request included (the Broodlord), so we have added even more details to his base. Pay attention because they are not randomly placed: electric wires form a pentagon which guide you and highlight what it's inside.

Now we shift of army. We want to introduce you the Librarian Calistarius, leader of the Terminator Squads.
Check out all the datails that he has like the axe, the cables or diferent parchments throughout his armor.

Shoulder pad "free hand" detail.

And finally, to end this request, the dead Terminator on a throne. We really like this miniature. His pose is very dinamic and realistic. Just great.

To sum up, a varied request full of complex miniatures with many details which we have used several interesting techniques and enjoyed painting their bases.
We hope you like it and of course we accept all your opinions and ideas.

Cheers!!
