This time we have completed a very special order. It is a conversion that gathers an incredible Warpfire Dragon of Forge World an a Araloth. As you can see, the result is just astonishing. Take a look at the base too because it contains some elements modeled specifically for this composition.

ARALOTH, LORD OF TALSYN. WOOD ELVES. YEAR: 2014.
The prince Araloth has arrived to our blog to command the Wood Elves forces (specially after the new Nurgle models that Games Workshop will release this coming weekend for its campaign The End of Times).
Not too long ago the company launched a serie of miniatures for this forgotten Warhammer Fantasy army. Wood Elves really needed a renewal and this is one of the new characters. The model is simple, showy and satisfies perfectly the role of hero within the army. Our mate Borja has painted it masterfully and is currently into the Grupo Afternoon Hall of Fame.
Although it doesn't belong to any order, we have had a month full of Wood Elves. Here we leave you some links in case you want to check out some other posts:
- BATTLE STANDARD BEARER
- DRYCHA
- AVATARS OF WAR HERO
- GLADE GUARD UNIT
- THE WHOLE ORDER GATHERED

WOOD ELVES: HEROES AND UNITS. ORDER COMPLETED. YEAR: 2014.
Here you have as we promised in our previous post: a couple of pictures of the whole Wood Elves order already finished and ready to battle. Hope you like it!
Glade Guard unit along with Drycha, battle Standard Bearer and Elf Hero.
Wood Elves heroes.
WOOD ELVES BATTLE STANDARD BEARER. YEAR: 2014.
Although is not a Games-Workshop miniatue is quite impressive.
This model comes from the brand Confrontation and is an Alahan royal Standard Bearer, a human real of that universe. Anyway, painted with green and brown shades is an amazing elf hero.
We want to highlight the time that his painter has dedicated to the armor. You can judge it by yourselves:
Golden icons of the armor have been performed with NMM technique (Non Metallic Metal).
Armor lights and shades have been very good planned, creating a great effect.
Our next post will be an overview of the whole Wood Elves order. We are sure you will like it! Until that day...
..cheers from the entire crew!

DRYCHA. WOOD ELVES. YEAR: 2014
Drycha is a Wood Elves unique character and maybe the most representative of this army due to its rage against any enemy of the forest. In addition, it spends one hero option but allows you to deploy extra spirit forest units if at least one forest is present on the battlefield.
Today we want show you this miniature, a wonderfull Wood Elves model.
It's the fourth post that we publish about our Wood Elves order, but it's not the final one... You will have to wait until we upload the fifth and sixth!.

WOOD ELF HERO. AVATARS OF WAR. YEAR 2014.
We continue making progress in this order.
We only have to complete two miniatures: Drycha and a Standard Beared that will be a surprise.
Today, we want to show you a Guardian of Jade of the Aureus Elves (Avatars of Wars). However, she will be a Wood Elf Hero.
About this miniature, you should pay attention at the cloak. But do not waste more time! Here you can see the pictures.
If you want to see more Wood Elves... don't worry because soon we'll show you more.
Enjoy painting each model! You always must remember one thing: finishing de work isn't important. What matters is to learn something about each experience!
See you guys!

Front view of the miniature: you can see the first freehand that we have painted in the cloak.
We have painted the lips just like the original model.
We have tried to respect the Wood Elves colours. However, we have also tried to respect the original essence as well.
In the elf's back you can see the other cloak freehand.

WOOD ELVES: GLADE GUARD UNIT. YEAR: 2014.
After a looong stop for summer holidays we come back with new energies. We deserved to rest for a bit!
To begin with this new period, we are going to present just a small part of a Wood Elves order that is in our workshop these days. However, it has a peculiarity: none of the models belong to a Games Workshop Wood Elves army. In this case, we have painted a Glade Guard unit using miniatures of Mirkwood Rangers from the Hobbit.
They trully fit vey well, and painted with the appropiate scheme of colours, are a very good option to have a nice skirmishers squad in you Wood Elves army.
Anyway, the order is much more bigger, but unfortunately you will have to wait for the next posts to see the other minis.
For the moment, here we upload you the pics of this Glade Guard unit:

As you can see, taking a look of every model, they all have the same green and brown colours. But, each one has a different combination, so any of them have the same clothes.
Each base is different as well.
There are many women too.
Each model has a different pose, which gives the unit a great presence in the battefield.
We have tried to add variety by painting details in different ways (just pay attention at the hair of each one or the hoddies).
Very soon we will have something new to show you!
Until our next post!
Until our next post!
