The Space Wolves have landed once again in our blog with some new Forge World stuff such as the Storm Eagle that we want to show you today. In addition, the order is completed with a Land Raider and a Terminator squad commanded by Arjac Rockfist himself.

Talking about the painting, we have applied several effects and illuminations on the vehicles. Good examples are the Land Raider lights or the Storm Eagle cockpit. But that's not all because we have painted free hands representing a pack of wolves hunting. Do you like them?

As you can see, we have magnetized the Land Raider so our customer can choose any configuration he whises.

SPACE WOLVES: KROM DRAGONGLAZE, TERMINATORS & BLOOD CLAWS. PREMIUM LEVEL. YEAR: 2015.

This order is composed by the whole Space Wolves part of the Stormclaw Games Workshop box plus a Blood Claws extra squad. Everything has been customized as our customer wanted, including icons and colours at the shoulder pads, bases, war damages at the armours, etc.

Blood Claws squads, each one specialized in close combat or missile weapons.

This squad yields plenty of power weapons in order to destroy their foes in close combat.

Terminator squad leaded by Krom Dragonglaze.

Krom Dragonglaze is one of the most powerful Wolf Lords within the Space Wolves chapter.

SPACE WOLVES TERMINATORS AND WOLF LORD ON THUNDERWOLF. YEAR: 2015.

Following the last words of our previous post (Jain Zar and Howling Banshees), this week the Space Wolves return here with 3 Terminators and a Wolf Lord on Thunderwolf. They all have been painted with the classic colors of this famous Space Marine chapter.

We already have a looong experience with this army. At the begining of our times as painters, we performed some Blood Claws squads, a Scouts unit and several Dreadnoughts and characters. However, it's been nice to have the Space Wolves back. If you don't believe us, check out these 3 Terminators:

We highligh the bases decorated with snow just like the home death world of this chapter: Fenris. Our customer has wanted to include some extra elements on them like: axes, shields, hammers...They occupy the free space at the bases calling your attention and making the models more attractive.

Talking about the Wolf Lord on Thunderwolf, we have wanted for so long to face this miniature. Both wolf and lord have a threatenig posture (we love that). We have thought that a high position over some rocks could give the model even a more aggresive appearance. 

The chosen colors make the Lord more showy among his troops, in concrete among the Terminators. Grey and gold fit very well with red, as you can see in the cloak. 

Here you can appreciate better the base. Some death bushes with snow and a icicle complete this cold terrain of Fenris.

SPACE WOLVES DREADNOUGHT: BJORN THE FELL-HANDED. YEAR: 2013.

Bjorn the Fell-Handed is a mythical Dreadnought and Space Wolves warrior. He already was a Blood Claw when the primarch of his Chapter, Leman Russ, was still alive. Bjorn leaded by himself the great hunt to find him after the burning of Prospero.
Bjorn has lived for millenniums and now it is just awaken each 1.000 years or in critical moments when his chapter needs him, like in the Defence of the Fang.

   

As you see is a miniature with a long background! 

This Bjorn is going to be included at the Space Wolves army that we are performing for a customer. So we have painted him with the same stone grey and the same base decoration than the rest of the army miniatures in order to keep coherence. On the other hand, we have respected the original Games Workshop colour scheme exept some extra runes and free hands. We only complain about one thing: miniature is made of Finecast and has some small damages impossible to fix with Green Stuff. Anyway, we are quite satisficed with the final results. With a small free hand, we have changed the original Games Workshop Bjorn's icon to the 10th Great Company of Space Wolves, which is the one that our customer wants to reproduce: Ragnar Blackmane's company. Check out all the cables that surround the pilot's sarcophagus.
