PLAGUEBEARERS OF NURGLE. YEAR: 2014.

Hi!
Our last order has been a Plaguebearers of Nurgle unit, in concrete the last models that Games Workshop released for these daemons. With the campaign the End of Times and all its backstory changes with Glottkin and more recently Khaine, Chaos is the lastest fashion and specially Nurgle. So, which moment could be best for painting a unit like this?

The chosen scheme of color is...well...putrid, with yellow, green and magenta shades for entrails. Everything is very organic. Swords have been painted with a black base and illuminated just in the edges with a medium grey light. As you see, Plaguebearers look pretty disgusting but...aren't all the sons of Nurgle like that? Everyone brings good details such as the guts hanging from their bellies, pustules or skin tears. They are better models than the old Plaguebeares, which were almost the same with identical postures.

Another detail: the base. That brown color along with the dead shrubbery fit great with these daemons that only leave diseases and putrefaction wherever they walk.

Thank you for reading and hope you like this Nurgle daemons. Soon we will be here again with more models to show you!

KHORNE DAEMON PRINCE, TYPHUS AND NURGLE TERMINATORS SQUAD. YEAR: 2012

Just when we had finished a nice Chaos Space Marines request a couple of weeks ago, we receive a new one! We are having an hectic summer! But we have to recognize that at the expense of not playing enough battles nor working for ourselves. It will be time for those matters. We hope to keep receiving your miniatures!

The request that we show you today is composed by a Khorne Daemon Prince of Forge World, which we have built a new base. Our customer saw our Bloodthirster and asked to us for a very characteristic Khorne's base to highlight this amazing miniature. Moreover, he wanted to complement his request with a Terminator Nurgle squad (they have a few personal changes) to be commanded by Typhus, Herald of Nurgle.

Here we leave you the photos:

Base's details. A Khorne Daemon must have enough skulls and chains on it base! We wanted to simulate a blood river, which gives coherence and a daemoniac look according to the God that it serves.

However, at the beginning the base wasn't painted like a blood river, but lava. But we proposed the idea to our customer and he decided to change the original idea. Here we show you the first steps of it construction and how the Daemon Prince looked with the lava's river base. ¿Which one do you prefer?

We wanted to raise the miniature so we built a mound with mold putty leaving some gaps to simulate a riverbed.

Here you can see it almost done but for a few details.

Here you can check out the Nurgle's Terminators. Nurglings at the bases have been placed there by decision of our customer. What a pets!

And finally...Typhus, Herald of Nurgle and commander of the Nurgle's Terminator squad. We love this miniature.

That's all for now. We hope you enjoyed these miniatures. We always like to work on big miniatures such us the Khorne Daemon Prince.
We keep performing requests but soon it's possible that you see new Malifaux updates. Stay tuned!
Greetings!

BLOODTHIRSTER, GREAT DEMON OF KHORNE. YEAR: 2012.

DEFEND YOURSELF!! KHORNE IS COMING!!

And here it is! The Bloodthirster that we showed you in our new post about Chaos Space Marines is finally over! And we have to say that we are very pleased with the results. Since the first moment when we opened the box where the whole request was packaged, we wanted to start with it. For us it is a Warhammer's classic, one of those miniatures that you cannot wish if you like this fantastic universe. We always wanted to paint this miniatures but we never did it, sometimes due to the money, sometimes it was matter of time and sometimes because it is not part of our current armies.

However, this request has give us this chance and we couldn't leave a Bloodthirster without a proper base.
Due to the whole army has stony and volcanic bases, his commander couldn't be different. We wanted to highlight the Bloodthirster building a base with several tiers and using a wounded loyal Space Marine who is resting and trying to hide against the wall from the Great Demon of Khorne. During the falling, the Bloodthirster has sunk the ground. Finally, we have added a couple of skulls to break the sameness of the rocks.

This Bloodthirster has the support of Lord Zhufor, commander of the World Eaters4 squads of Khorne Berzerkers with 4 Rhinos assigned such as transport for each unit. What a red tide!

We hope you like it and enjoy it as much as we did it performing this amazing miniature:

Let's begin with the details!

Bloodthirster's weapons. First, the whip.

And second, the axe.

One of the Bloodthirster's wings. Pay attention at the nerves and horns.

Base's details: wounded Space Marine staring at the Great Demon which has just fallen beside him.
We thought that his posture against the wall bleeding out and his bolter leaned, were perfect for the scene.

Some skulls and rocks during the falling.

Details of the leg muscles and nerves.

View from above. Check out all the skulls and the Khorne emblem that it carries between it hair. Do not miss the wings.

We are going to dedicate the last two photos to show first a general view of the back, and then, other more detailed highlighting all the skulls and muscles. Just great.

It really was worth all our efforts and the time spent in this miniature. Long time ago since we didn't enjoy like this. Now, time to continue with the rest of the Chaos request.
And course we accept all your critics and opinions.
We hope you like it.
Greetings from the whole crew!!
